We are all gearing up for Big Game Day and the largest snacking occasion of the year! While these parties are a ton of fun, they can be a challenge if you’re trying to eat healthier. Luckily, we have experts like registered dietician, Julie Upton, to help us map out our healthier Big Game Day plays!
Julie was interviewed on Good Day Sacramento (KMAX-TV) yesterday where she suggested benching regular fried potato chips for baked alternatives like New York Style Bagel Crisps and Pita Chips. Julie pointed out that 27 BILLION calories from potato chips are consumed during the game…yuck. Julie loves New York Style snacks because they have half the fat than fried potato chips and pack 3 grams of protein per serving to keep you fuller for longer.
